VIDEO: Surgeon offers tips for treatment of hip and femur fractures

WAILEA, Hawaii — At Orthopedics Today Hawaii, Derek J. Donegan, MD, shared five tips for the treatment of hip and femur fractures.
“For intertrochanteric femur fractures, be aware of the lateral wall. If there is a thin lateral wall, be sure to move to an intramedullary implant,” Donegan said.
