VIDEO: Assess rotator cuff tear factors to determine repair, augmentation

“I think one of the keys that we all took home today is understanding the type of tear, the size of the tear, the retraction, and the quality of the muscle and tendon itself, and knowing when a repair is enough on its own and when we need to augment,” she said. “Sometimes, we do need to add a patch or add a biologic or even add both to get a successful outcome,”
